My Name is Maureen. I had no one to pay tuition and basic needs for me, this forced me to drop out of school. I tried to do some piece work and hard labor but I couldn’t raise enough to support myself. I was referred to YouthCare by a government department. My favorite subjects in school are English. When I grow up I want to be a leader of an orphanage.

Now, YouthCare has taken me in and has given me home and a reason to live. Now am living in a house that is iron sheet roofed. The people I live with are my aunt and Safe Haven sisters.
