My name is Shillah. My dream is to be a Teacher.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning and get ready for school. At school I play netball during playtime with my friends. At around 2pm go back home for lunch, walk about 3 kilometers to fetch water for cooking and drinking. I live with my mother and 6 siblings.

My Community

I live in a rural village in the south-western part of Uganda. The trading centre is where we purchase items like books, pens, and pencils. I sleep in a thatched house with iron sheets. Most of the houses surrounding are temporary.

My Prayer

Pray for my family to have food. For school fees to stay in school, a school uniform, books, pens, pencils to do well in class.
