My name is Rodgers. When I grow up my dream is to be a nurse.

My Day

I wake up early in the early morning, make I walk a distance of about 2kilometers to reach my school. I get back from school at around 2 pm. I walk another 1 kilometer to go get water for drinking and cooking. I live with four of my siblings. My friend’s name is Angella. My favorite game! sport is football (soccer).

My Community

I live in a Sub-urban area in the south-western part of Uganda. Our nearest town is where we buy things like salt for cooking, clothes, books, pencils to use in school. I sleep in a semi-permanent house. It is a mud house thatched with iron sheets.

My Prayer

Pray for me to have school fees. Rodgers did drop out of school because of fees and he missed out the end of term exams. Pray for God to give me a good life and future. I also need books and a school uniform in which you pray to God that He will answer our prayers.
