My name is Griffin.

My Day

I wake up at 4:00am to study for an hour, bathe, and take tea for breakfast. After school, I eat lunch then go to the market to by relish. After dinner, I study then go to bed at 8 pm. I sleep on a bed, many of my friends sleep on mats.

My Community

I live in a village where most of the houses have grass thatched roofs and mud floors. Our house has an iron sheet roof and cement floor. Our market is a 15 minute walk from my village. I buy food, clothes, and school supplies from the market. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. Many boys in my village lack food and tuition fees. I live with my sister so that I can go to RiseMalawi High School. My parents live too far away from Rise. I have 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
