My name is Alex Kamtumbi.

My Day

I wake up at 5:00 am, and sweep around my house. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I clean dishes, study and go to bed around 8 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village where most of the houses are grass-thatched with a mud floor. We have one market that is a 20 minutes’ walk away. It has many kinds of goods such as vegetables, soy, and sweet potatoes. Most people grow corn, and it is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of school fees. Most girls get married early due to a lack of parental care. I live with my Mum, Step Dad, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother.

My Prayer

Pray for provision of a school bag, school shoes, pens, pencils, and pray for me to have good health
