My Day

I wake up at 4:00 am, sweep around my house, clean dishes, bath, and go to school. After school, I eat lunch, study then hang out with my friends. I go to bed at around 8:00 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village that has one hospital. Most of the houses are grass-thatched with mud floor. Our house has an iron sheet roof and mud floor. It has grass windows. Our market is a 15 minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as clothes, and food like sweet potatoes. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls lack good mentors to help them stay in school. They end up in early marriages, teen pregnancies, and beer drinking. I live with my Mum, Dad, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters.
