My name is Mariah. I want to be a Nurse, so I can treat my grandmother and mother.

My Day

I wake up to prepare for school, my grandmother helps me to cross the highway to and from school, I go for the after school program, then later go home do my homework, cook supper, do home chores, eat supper and sleep.

My Community

I live with my grandmother because my mother does not stay with us. We live in a village, with my grandmother near a major highway that I cross every morning to and from school, our home is near a highway surrounded by few neighbors and near a garden, we live in a rented house.

My Prayer

For God to give me knowledge to study hard. I want God to give my grandmother money so that we can get our own house, and buy me a Christmas dress and shoes.
