GIFT

Age: 1

Gift is a very smart young lady. She loves the Lord and enjoys coming to school because she spent all those years without education.  she is 12 years and in first grade but she shes this as a previallge to her. She wants to be a Pastor when grows up. 

My Day

I wake up in the morning,  say my prayer, Greet my mother. 

Help my mother with the babies, baith and dress up for school. 

I go to school to learn, play, and eat food.

Go back home in the evening, i walk to go and fetch water at the well, come back and wash my uniform,  cook food when we have it, but many times, we sleep without food. then go to bed.

My Community

Gift is an orphan and vulnerable by identity. She stays with a random person who was their neighbor and witnessed her mother’s death when Gift was only a month, after her mom’s burial everyone abandoned her, left her behind with his father who was dunked, always left that little baby alone in the house to go and drink. The neighbor decided to take on gift as she was at risk of dying her being a baby. She raised her up to now.  This lady is also taking care of her sister’s twin babies who got them as a teenager and the boyfriend run away. Life is a challenge right now for her to sustain the family with food, clothing, house rent and other needs. But she has no option and just believing God for tomorrow.

My Prayer

Pray for me to get education untill when i graduate. 

Pray for my mother to have money for food.
