My name is Jacqueline. When I grow up, I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I want to help to treat the sick people.

My Day

When I get up from bed, I go for water at a well, bath, and go to school, depending on God for food to eat. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I go to CELDI-Liberia Afterschool camp. From there, I go home, do my work, sleeps in the same room as my mother and brother.

My Community

I live in a slum community. Most of the people who live there, are mainly children and young people. The community has businesses, churches, schools, social groups, and youth groupings; which makes it a place I love to be.

My Prayer

That God will provide me with better shelter, education, food, and clothing. Please pray that God will use someone to sponsor me from poverty.
