My name is Monica. When I grow up my dream is to be a nurse.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning, make I walk a distance of about 2 kilometers to reach my school. I get back from school at around 2 pm. I walk another 1 kilometer to get water for drinking and cooking. I live with two of my siblings, Mark and Mojorine. My friend’s name is Benitah. My favorite game is jumping a rope.

My Community

I live in a Sub-urban area in south-western part of Uganda. It is our nearest town where we buy things like salt for cooking, clothes, books, pencils to use in school. I sleep in a semi-permanent house. It is a mud house thatched with iron sheets.

My Prayer

Pray for me to have school fees. Pray for God to give me knowledge and wisdom. I also need books and a school uniform. Will you pray to God that He will answer our prayers.
