My name is Mercy. When I grow up my dream is to be a teacher.

I wake up early in the morning, make I walk a distance of about 3 kilometers to reach my school. I get back from school at around 2 pm. I walk another 1 kilometers to go get water for drinking and cooking. I live with nine of my siblings. My friend’s name at school is Shakirah. My favorite game/sport is Netball (basketball).

I live in a Sub-urban area in south-western part of Uganda. It is our nearest town where we buy things like salt for cooking, clothes, books, pencils to use in school. I sleep in a rental semi-permanent house. It is a mud house thatched with iron sheets.

Pray for me to have school fees. Pray for God to give me a house of our own. I also need books and a school uniform. Can you pray to God that He will hear our prayers.
