My name is Alex. My position in class was 30th out of 63 pupils.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning and get ready for school. At school, I play football during break time with my friends. When I get back from school at around 4 pm, I go to collect firewood for cooking food. I live with my grandmother, and two of my siblings.

My Community

I live in a rural village in South-Western part of Uganda.  It is a trading centre where we go for buying things like books, pens, and school bags.  I sleep in a mud house thatched with iron sheets. Most of the houses surrounding our house are grass thatched houses.

My Prayer

Pray for my family to be able to keep in school from God. I need school fees to stay in school and finish my education. I need a school uniform and books, pens and pencils to do well in class.  I hope God will answer your prayers for me.
