My name is Mercy. I love singing.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning and get ready for school. At school, I play netball during play time with my friends. At around 2 pm, come back from school. I eat lunch and after lunch I walk 3 kilometers to go get water for cooking and drinking. I live with my Aunt.

My Community

I live in a rural village in south-western part of Uganda. It is a trading centre where we go for buying things like books, pens, and pencils. I sleep in a house thatched with iron sheets. Most of the houses surrounding our house are temporary houses.

My Prayer

Pray for my family. I need school fees to stay in school. I need a school uniform and books, pens and pencils to do well in class.
