My name is Augine. When I grow up, my dream is to be a teacher.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning, make I walk a distance of about 2 kilometers to reach my school. I get back from school at around 2 pm. I walk another 2 kilometers to get water for drinking and cooking. I live with two of my siblings, Dismus and Ritah. My friend’s name at school is Delick. My favorite game/sport is volleyball.

My Community

I live in a sub-urban area in the south-western part of Uganda. Our nearest town is where we buy things like salt for cooking, clothes, books, and pencils to use in school. I sleep in a semi-permanent house. It is a mud house thatched with iron sheets.

My Prayer

Pray for me to have school fees. I did not sit for exams for the past school term. I also need books and a school uniform. Please pray to God that He will answer our prayers.
