My name is Elias. Once I finish school my dream is to be a Taxi Driver.

My Day

I wake up early in the morning and get ready for school. I walk a distance of 3kilometers to reach my school. At school I meet my teacher and learn from him. I play football (Soccer) with my friends. When I get back from school at around 2pm, I eat lunch and walk another 2kilometer to go get water for cooking and drinking. I live with both my grandfather and grandmother.

My Community

I live in a rural village in south-western part of Uganda. A near town is where we buy books, pens, and pencils to use in class. I sleep in a mud house thatched with iron sheets most of the houses surrounding our house are grass thatched houses.

My Prayer

Pray that my family may have a big piece of land to farm crops and get enough food in our home. I need school fees to stay in school and finish my education. I need books, pens and pencils to do my homework.
