I am Sara Chepetsani. I am 18 years old.

My Day

I wake up at 4:00 am, study, draw water and mop my house, eat breakfast, and go to school. After school, I wash dishes, study, and eat dinner. I go to bed around 9 pm. I sleep on a bed.

My Community

I live in a village where most of the houses are grass thatched and with mud floors. Our house has an iron sheet roof and cement floor. It has walls with burnt bricks. Our market is a 10 minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as soap, sugar, sweet potatoes, and cooking oil. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many girls drop out of school, get married, and become teen mothers. I live with my Mum, Dad, 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
