My name is Rhodrick.

My Day

I wake up at 5:00 am, sweep around my house, clean dishes, draw water from the well, bath and go to school. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I study and go to bed around 8:00 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village that has no hospital. Most of the houses are grass-thatched with a mud floor. My house has iron sheets with a cement floor and sack windows. Our market is a 30 minutes’ walk away. It has many kinds of goods such as vegetables, soap, sugar, and dry fish. Most people grow corn, which is our staple food. In my village, many girls drop out of school anytime because they lack school resources. And Parents take their children to gardens during school time to raise money for basic needs. I live with my Parents, 1 Sister and 2 Brothers.

My Prayer

Pray for provision of a school bag, school shoes, pens, pencils, and pray for me to have good health.
