My name is Obvious.

My Day

I wake up at 5:00 am, sweep around my house, draw water, bath, and go to school. At 6;00 am,  I go to Rise Malawi Secondary School. I start classes at 7:30am and finish at 3:20 pm. When I get home, I eat and clean dishes. I go to bed around 8:00pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village that has one hospital and a Police Station. Most of the houses are grass-thatched with mud floor. My house has iron sheet roof with mud floor and wooden windows. Our market is a 20 minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of goods such as vegetables, soy pieces and sweet potatoes. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of basic needs like food, and girls get married early while boys work on farms. I live with my Mum, 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters.

My Prayer

I pray that God will help me graduate secondary school and go to college in Malawi. I want to be a Geography Lecturer. I also pray that God should give me long life.
