My Day

I wake up around 5 am, sweep around the house, make a fire to cook soy or corn porridge, bath, and go to school. I start classes at 7:30 am and finish at 3:30 pm. When I get home, I clean the dishes, play soccer and go to bed around 8 pm, I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village has one hospital and most of the houses have grass thatched roofs and mud floors. Our house has an iron sheet roof, cement floor and glass windows. It has walls with un-burnt bricks. Our market is a 30 minute walk from my house. It has rice, sweet potatoes, cornflour and many kinds of goods. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school anytime because of lack of school sup-plies, school uniform and other things. I live with my Mum, Dad, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.
