My Day

I wake up at 4:00 am, sweep around my house, draw water, clean dishes, bathe, and go to school. After school, I eat lunch, study, then hang out with my friends. I go to bed around 8 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village that has no clinic. Most of the houses are grass-thatched with a mud floor, and our house is one of them. Our market is a 40-minute walk from my house. It has many kinds of fish, vegetables and exercise books. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school and get married early because of lack of resources. I live with my youngest sister. My sister has just graduated from high school. My dad divorced my mum and married another woman. I have one brother and six sisters.
