My name is Aubrey.

My Day

I wake up at 5:00 am, sweep around my house, clean dishes, mop the house, and bath. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I clean dishes, and go to bed around 8 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village that has one hospital and a Police station. Most of the houses are grass-thatched with a mud floor. My house has an iron sheet roof with a cement floor and brick wall, and our market is a 15 minutes’ walk. It has many kinds of goods such as vegetables, soy, and sweet potatoes. Most people grow corn, and it is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of basic needs like food. Girls get married early while boys work on farms. I live with my Parents and 2 sisters.

My Prayer

Pray for provision for a school bag, school shoes, pens, pencils, school uniform, and pray for me to have good health.
