My name is Connex Kam’mwamba.

My Day

I wake up at 5:00 am, sweep around my house, clean dishes and bathe. After school, I go to Rise Malawi. When I get home, I clean dishes and go to bed around 8 pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village where most of the houses are grass-thatched with a mud floor. Our market is a 20 minutes’ walk. It has many kinds of goods such as vegetables, soy, and sweet potatoes. Most people grow corn, and it is our staple food. In my village, many boys and girls drop out of school because of lack of school fees. Boys tend people’s cattle after they drop out of school. I live with my Mum, 2 Sisters and 3 Brothers.

My Prayer

Pray for provision of a school bag, school shoes, pens, pencils, and pray for me to have good health.
