My Day

I wake up at 4:00am, pray and study. I wash dishes and mop my house, bathe and go to school at 6:00am. I go to bed around 8pm. I sleep on a mat.

My Community

I live in a village where most of the houses have grass thatched roofs and mud floors. Our house has an iron sheet roof, wooden windows and has walls with unburnt bricks. Our market is a 30 minute walk from my house. Items sold are; rice, sweet potatoes, corn flour and many kinds of goods. Most people grow corn which is our staple food. Many girls in my village get pregnant or work for people without proper wages. I live with my Parents, 4 Brothers and 1 Sister.
