My name is Maliyamu . I am 8 years old. I am in grade 5. When I grow up I want to be a Teacher. I live with both parents.

My Day

When I wake up in the morning I pray, go to the borehole to fetch water for me to bath, I eat and go to school. In the afternoon I go to the after school program, help my mother with cleaning.

My Community

I live in a big community that has a lot of uneducated people. Most of children drop out of school because of distance, lack of motivation and lack of schooling materials.

My Prayer

Please pray for my future, my education and my community.
