My name is Janet, and I am 16 years old. I am in standard 5, when I finish school I want to be a teacher so that I should be helping children in my community to read and write.

My Day

When I wake up, I go fetch water, sweep around the house, get ready for school, eat and go to school. In the afternoon I go to LDM AfterSchool Program.

My Community

I live in a big beautiful village where many children don’t go to school because of poverty and illiteracy.

My Prayer

Pray for me to continue going to school and that I should not be disturbed with my peers as I am old in my class.
