My name is Shukulani Mzee, I am 14 years old; I was born on 06 March 2008. I am in standard 4 at Kapira primary school, when I finish school, I want to be a soldier because I want to protect my country. I live with my parents.

My Day

When I wake up in the morning, I help my mother with cleaning the dishes and sweeping around the house. After that, I go take a bath then leave for school. After school, I attend LDM after-school program. When I knock off from there, I go home.

My Community

I live in a village where there are a lot of school dropout children and many boys stop school to go to South Africa or Mzuzu for work or business. A lot of people are poor which also affects children’s education.

My Prayer

Pray for me to continue working hard at school and that I can find school resources so that I don’t drop out of school because of a lack of school needs.
