My name is Priscila and, I am 9 years old. I am in standard 4 and when I finish school, I want to be a teacher because I want to help children learn how to read and write. I live with my single mother since my father went to South Africa for work.

My Day

As a girl when I wake up, I have to help my mother to clean the dishes and draw water at the nearest borehole. Then I have to sweep the house and prepare food if we have it available for breakfast. Then I get ready to go to school.

My Community

I live in a community that has many problems that affect us in various ways. As a girl who grew up in this community, I realized that if I get an education it will help me and my entire family and community in one way or another.

My Prayer

Please pray for me so that I should have a sponsor who can assist me in my entire education until I achieve my goal.
