My name is Jonathan. When I grow up I want to be a doctor so I can treat my grandmother, my mother and little children.

My Day

I wake up in the morning, prepare and walk to school, go to after school program that I enjoy very much. Then I go back home, fetch water, wash dishes, do my homework, eat supper if provided and go to bed.

My Community

I live in a village, at my grandmother’s home with my mother and my other siblings. Our home is surrounded by bars and joints where they sell booze till morning almost every day, and they make for us noise every day.

My Prayer

For God to provide me with shoes and new clothes and to help my mother get money so that we can get our own house.
