My name is Doreen. When I grow up I want to be a teacher, to teach little children.

My Day

I wake up in the morning prepare for school, I cross the highway everyday going to school, I go for the after school program, come back home do my homework, eat supper and go to bed.

My Community

I stay with my father and my elder siblings. I live near a major highway which I cross every morning and evening to and from school. My home is surrounded by youth who attend a college near where we stay and they live a reckless life.

My Prayer

I want God to help me to finish my studies. I want God to give my father money so that we get our own house, he buys for me new shoes and a new Christmas dress.
