My name is Ruth. When I grow, I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I want to treat the sick people, mainly the poor.

My Day

When I wake from bed I wash the dishes and go to school. From school, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I go to CELDI-Liberia afterschool camp. At camp, I am given one meal, daily. When I get home, I wash the dishes, eat and go to sleep. I sleep on a little mattress on the floor with my cousins.

My Community

I live in a clean but noisy community. The people of the community belong to different cultural practices and are mostly working people. There are many businesses along the streets. The community has many venues that five children the chance to play during weekends.

My Prayer

Pray that God will provide me with good shelter, education, food, and clothing. Please pray that my needs will be met through a sponsor.
