My name is Melvin. When I grow up, I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I want to help heal the sick.

My Day

Cleaning our yard, going to school, going to CELDI’s After-school program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. After I get home, I help my Grandmother get water for our house, wash my uniform a late evening meal; take my bath, study and go to bed.

My Community

I live in a community that has many low-income families, lacks electricity, safe drinking water, and health centers. Also, there is no play center for the children. I live with my Grandmother.

My Prayer

Pray for provision for my education, food, and clothes.
