Age: 16

My name is Faith. When I grow up I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I have the passion to serve those who are sick.

My Day

I help with house chores, like washing dishes, cleaning and getting water from the pump. I then take my bath and get ready for school. I sometimes have breakfast when its available. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I attend CELDI’s After-School Program where I learn and have fun with other children. When I come home, I help my mother to sell slappers in and around our community before having food at home. I end my day with a late evening bath and study my lessons before I go to bed.

My Community

I live in a community that has many swamps and trees which make the place cold. The community does not have safe drinking water and electricity.

My Prayer

Please pray for my education, to have daily meal, healthcare, and shelter.
