My name is Annie. When I grow up, I want to be a Medical Doctor, because I want to give medicine, care, and advice to the sick people.

My Day

When I get up from bed, I always think about how and when I will get a meal to eat. I wash the dishes, and go to school. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I go to CELDI-Liberia Afterschool camp. When I get back home from school and camp, I sell roasted plantain. I go to sleep with my neighbors’ children in a room that has no electricity.

My Community

I live in a small community that serves as a place for violence and child abuse. As a result, most of the dwellers live in fear. The dwellers are from different cultures; most of whom are young people and children (drugs and gambling addicts).

My Prayer

Please pray that I will get a sponsor who will make sure that my education, healthcare, feeding, and clothing are taken care of.
